JDA clears the long pending Jaipur Ring Road Project

Union ministry of environment and forest give its environmental clearance to Jaipur Development Authority‘s (JDA) long pending project of Jaipur Ring Road.

The forest department has also demanded that trees be planted in three rows along with the ring, road along the portion which will pass through the forest. The department will direct the JDA about the type of trees to be planted. “The JDA has submitted an undertaking on maintaining the plants for the next 10 years in the forest department, an official said

after receiving a nod from the Centre, the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) gave the final nod. “Near Muhana village, a portion of the road having an area of 5.51 hectare (nearly 19 bigahs) is passing through the forest area. After the permission has been given, the project clears the hurdle.” an official said.........
